The dust jacket has a 0.5 inch tear at the lower left-hand corner of the front panel and has the original bookseller's sticker on the lower edge of the rear panel. The original price has been blacked out on the front fold over flap. Bumping to the tail of the back strip with the cream cloth being clean. Slight dustiness to the top edge of the text block. This collection of over 30 storeys legends and folktales reflect the season around Easter and early summer in the northern hemisphere. For younger children folktales from all around the world illustrate at a deeper in imaginative level the theme of sacrifice and the triumph of love and loyalty over adversity.
