Trzcinska-Croydon, Lilka
The Labyrinth of Dangerous Hours: A Memoir of the Second World War
"This account of suffering and survival in wartime Poland is much more than a simple memoir. It is an exquisite piece of creative writing-concise, restrained, observant of detail, and ultra-sensitive to emotion. She was the daughter of a Catholic family in Warsaw who were engaged in the underground Resistance and who were all imprisoned with her" 152p. plates. Author inscription on half-title Book
