"Wesley" reassures his wife "Mary" "We get along firstrait I am first cook and Josh is dishwasher and milk maid and so you need not be uneasy about us starving as long as the meal and midlings last." He gives further evidence of his expertise in the kitchen at the expense of outdoor work noting "I can't bake the flower I can cook the rice and eggs tho" and closes with the sentiment "make your self easy about us until you can leave there altho I would like to be with you.
