Acquatinta misure: 216 x 278 Antonio (Vaprio 1799 - Milano 1875), Giuseppe (Vaprio 1795 - Milano 1871) e Luigi (Vaprio 1801 - Milano 1860) furono disegnatori, incisori e calcografi molto attivi e conosciuti nella Milano del XIX secolo soprattutto per opere quali vedute e rilievi architettonici. Questa stampa riprende la tavola numero VIII facente parte della serie Descrizione dello studio di scultura del Prof. Pompeo Marchesi 1838, composta da dodici tavole disegnate dall'Architetto Antonio Rinaldi. Pompeo Marchesi (Saltrio 1783 - Milano 1858) fu un noto scultore allievo di Antonio Canova. Il suo studio in via S. Primo a Milano ospitava oltre a sculture monumentali anche modelli di gesso delle opere più celebri sia antiche che moderne. In questa incisione, attraverso giochi chiaroscurali, e grazie alla luce che entra da due archi finestrati sulla sinistra, assistiamo ad una elaborata scena animata. Uomini donne e militari commentano dipinti e sculture. Sulla destra possiamo riconoscere il ritratto di Goethe seduto che indossa una tunica, alle sue spalle un'allegoria della Fede forse di Canova, su mensole alle colonne le figure di Santi per il Duomo di Milano, su una lunga mensola in alto a destra i tanti busti realizzati da Marchesi e in fondo sopra l'arco di ingresso una copia del Mercurio di Giambologna oggi al Bargello. L'ingresso nella scuola secondaria è una delle fasi di transizione più delicate nella vita di un individuo, sia dal punto di vista umano che didattico. È quindi importante preparare i prerequisiti d'ingresso necessari per raggiungere i principali obiettivi di apprendimento e ammorbidire l'impatto. Il libro è diviso in tre parti: italiano, matematica e metodo di studio. Il programma si focalizza con semplicità e immediatezza sul rafforzamento delle competenze basilari, che fin dai primi giorni di scuola saranno di aiuto per affrontare al meglio l'impatto con la nuova realtà. Per quanto riguarda la lingua italiana viene dedicata particolare attenzione alle abilità di comprensione e produzione scritta, con speciale riguardo nei confronti del lessico e delle principali strutture grammaticali. A partire da una serie di letture antologiche accuratamente selezionate tra argomenti di cruciale importanza e stringente attualità (globalizzazione, plastica in mare, inclusione sociale, questione ambientale), vengono proposte attività di produzione scritta, esercizi di ortografia e divertenti cruciverba che hanno lo scopo di intrattenere durante il percorso di ripasso. La sezione di matematica è una piccola palestra di calcolo e logica, che propone una ricognizione dei prerequisiti d'ingresso attraverso una serie di esercizi e problemi di aritmetica, geometria e statistica accompagnati da brevi ma puntuali spiegazioni, molto utili per fissare il programma svolto nella scuola primaria. La terza sezione è dedicata invece al metodo di studio: è essenziale che lo studente sviluppi un suo sistema per affrontare con profitto tutte le materie della scuola secondaria. DSA e compiti a casa. Strategie per rendere efficace lo studio e lo svolgimento dei compiti

Quello dei compiti è, per ogni studente, un momento tutt altro che atteso o piacevole... se poi l'alunno in questione presenta un Disturbo Specifico dell'Apprendimento, le attività scolastiche da svolgere a casa possono risultare ancora più faticose e frustranti. Per questo, l'individuazione di una strategia efficace che renda lo studio, tanto per i genitori quanto per i figli, non un'incombenza stressante ma un lavoro proficuo e vantaggioso, diventa di fondamentale importanza. Partendo dall'analisi parallela delle tipologie di compito da svolgere, delle difficoltà individuali e delle modalità di supporto che è possibile fornire, "DSA e compiti a casa mira" alla costruzione di un progetto di studio personalizzato per ogni studente, che consenta non solo di affrontare il lavoro a casa più serenamente ma anche di farne un'ulteriore occasione di apprendimento.
