Prima rara edizione di questo melodramma composto dal celebre Antonio Peretti, poeta e letterato di corte sotto Francesco IV e Francesco V di Modena che fu a lungo professore e segretario dell'Accademia Atesina di belle arti, nato a Castelnuovo dei Monti (RE) e morto a Ivrea (TO). Timbri dei censori estensi alla prima ed ultima carta. Un disegno a matita realizzato tra fine ottocento ed i primi del novecento con ritratto di un uomo. Una piccola mancanza all'angolo basso del volumetto, insignificante e per il resto esemplare ad ampi margini ed in buone condizioni. Le musiche per il melodramma furono composte dal celebre compositore, per breve periodo maestro di cappella a Reggio Emilia e arguto musicologo, Angelo Catelani, nato a Guastalla (RE) e morto a S.Martino di Mugnano (MO). Prima rara edizione.

Very Good Turkish, Ottoman (1500-1928) Original collection includes photographs of Arif Sayil and two business cards of him with autograph notes. The collection contains a small portrait photograph, two business cards, one is written some Ottoman Turkish notes, a standard sized studio photograph of his youth, gelatin silver small photo of him, a fine studio photograph with his fine clothes and his hat, a photograph showing him among some military stuff and early politicians of Trabzon city (Turkish rugs back), an autograph photograph with his manuscript note '25. yas Trabzon hatirasi, 15,4,1934' [i.e. A souvenir of Trabzon for my 25th age], a studio photo by Weinberg signed by Weinberg, two huge sized portrait photographs, and four photographs showing his funeral in varios sizes. The years of photographs between the 1930-1950s, until his death (his funeral photos). Arif Sayil was an early Turkish deputy of CHP -Republican Party- from Trabzon city and one of the theoretician of Republican Party of Republican Turkey.

Upon His Return To Philadelphia Purves Joined The Firm Of Zantzinger Borie & Medary Where He Remained Through 1927 Only Spending 1925 With Willing Sims & Talbutt. In 1927 Purves And Another University Of Pennsylvania Graduate Kenneth M. Day Set Up Their Own Firm Of Purves & Day. Edmund R. Purves Joined The Aia In 1930 And Became A Fellow In 1944. In 1932 Purves Began To Work Independently. In 1937 Purves Thomas Pym Cope And Harry Stewart Established Purves Cope & Stewart Which Endured Until 1941. Again A War Intervened And Purves Moved To Washington Dc Where He Served As The Aia's Representative. He Volunteered For War Action Again However And By 1942 Was With The U.S. Air Force In The Pacific Theatre. In 1945 He Returned To Washington Dc And Resumed Work With The Aia As Director Of Public And Professional Relations And In 1949 He Was Promoted To Executive Director For The Institute A Position In Which He Remained Until 1960. For The Last Four Years Of His Life Purves Acted As Consulting Architect For The Dc Firm Of Chatelain Gauger & Nolan Architects And Engineers. <br/> <br/> E. Weyhe hardcover
