In the letter Williams gives several reasons why he can't supply Guilfoil with the piece he has requested. Williams talks about several possible topics such as curling horseback riding hunting with a .410 shotgun versues a 12 gauge hunting the English Sparrow in Bermuda for the last three weeks with Mr. Kenneth Robert then finally says "For one reason or another I can't give you the piece you asked for."
