Plattegrond met driebeukig schip van vijf traveeën, breed uitspringende dwarsbeuk, koor van twee traveeën met zevenzijdige apsis omgeven door zijkapellen en ten slotte een zware ingebouwde westertoren. Vermoedelijk begin 14de eeuw start van de bouw, onder andere gedenksteen in koorapsis uit 1337 met vermelding van Franse bouwmeester Jacob Piccart. Vermoedelijk werd in de eerste helft van de 15de eeuw de westerpartij afgewerkt. Restauratie tussen 1844 en 1912 door Joseph Jonas Dumont en anderen, ook na 1945 restauraties.
