‎In "Droombeelden uit het Verre Oosten" verhaalt Chantal Kozyreff de boeiende geschiedenis van de Japanse Toren en het Chinese Paviljoen te Laken, die beide een belangrijke plaats bekleden in het historisch architecturaal patrimonium van Belgi . Deze recent gerestaureerde bouwwerken bieden thans, na jarenlange sluiting, een schitterend kader voor tijdelijke tentoonstellingen en zullen binnenkort het Museum voor Japanse kunst herbergen. Ze behoren tot de meest intrigerende constructies ooit gebouwd in opdracht van Leopold II.
