‎Summary The Homily of the Unworthy Priest Cosmas Against the Newly-Appeared Heresy of Bogomil (10th century) is a key source for the religious history of the Balkan peninsula. It is one of the earliest and richest sources for the rise of the dualistic religious movement of Bogomilism in the early Middle Ages. Written in a period of war and crisis of the Bulgarian Empire Cosmas sermon is also an important work of Eastern Christian Theology, calling for a thorough reform of clergy and monasticism. During the subsequent centuries Cosmas' work was copied and excerpted by Bulgarian, Serbian and Russian churchmen who were seeking inspiration in their struggle for ecclesial reform and against religious dissent of various heretical movements. In the processes of national identity construction on the Balkans during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries Cosmas' Homily again played a remarkable role. The present study provides the first complete translation into a western language of Begunov's 1973 critical edition. The German translation is accompanied by an introduction and a commentary. Die ?Rede des unw rdigen Priesters Kozma gegen die neuerschienene H resie Bogomils? (10. Jh.) ist ein Schl sseldokument zur Religionsgeschichte des Balkans und eine der fr hesten und gehaltvollsten Quellen zur Entstehung der dualistischen religi sen Bewegung der Bogomilen im Fr hmittelalter. Zugleich ist Kozmas Predigt, die in einer Zeit des Krieges und der staatlichen Krise im bulgarischen Reich verfasst wurde, ein bedeutendes Werk ostkirchlicher Theologie, das auf eine gr ndliche Reform des Klerus und des M nchtums abzielt. In den nachfolgenden Jahrhunderten kopierten und exzerpierten bulgarische, serbische und russische Kirchenleute das Werk des Kozma auf der Suche nach Inspiration in ihrem Kampf um Kirchenreform und gegen unterschiedliche h retische Bewegungen. In many cases, the entry is illustrated by one of the authors' detailed paintings, which are faithful to the colour and composition of each mosaic. This volume contains some of the finest Romano-British mosaics ever uncovered. The South West has Britain's greatest concentration of figured mosaics, including, at Hinton St Mary, one of the earliest depictions of Christ. Several pavements illustrate scenes from Virgil's Aeneid or Ovid's Metamorphosis . (6), tavole 15, di cui una ripiegata; le 11 tavole finali che raffigurano piante e alzati dei principali teatri di Bologna, Venezia, Torino, Napoli, teatro Greco, Imola, Vicenza, Milano, Roma, Genova, Fano, sono montate a formare un’unica lunga tavola ripiegata più volte; al frontespizio grande stemma calcografico; nel testo anche tre grandi rami che raffigurano il Foro di Nerva, l’ingresso del teatro di Pompeo, Rovine del teatro Marcello e una tavola a piena pagina sul “Modo di ridurre il teatro di Bologna alla forma d’Imola; un capolettera inciso su rame. Legatura coeva in mezza pelle. Edizione originale. Bell’esemplare. Morelli (1732-1812) fu architetto di passaggio tra lo stile barocco e il neoclassico; ricoprì per molti anni l’incarico di architetto pontificio. Realizzò, oltre al Palazzo Braschi di Roma, altri teatri a Fermo, Jesi, Macerata. Quest’opera è interessante anche per l’apparato iconografico che offre testimonianza completa del teatro di Imola (la pianta dello scenario, il prospetto della scena, lo spaccato laterale) e offre la possibilità di confronto con altre architetture per teatri italiani.‎
