Written by architectural author Jules Gailhabaud. In the original French language.Three volumes being volumes I III and IV. Lacking volume II.Volume I is illustrated with eighty-one plates including double plates and one plate in colour.Volume III is illustrated with ninety-eight plates including fifteen plates in colour some of which are double plates.Volume IV is illustrated with one hundred and five plates including a number in colour and double plates.Collated with all illustrations present.From Birmingham School of Arts and Crafts library.This work would lend itself to a fresh rebind. Disbound; in a quarter cloth binding with paper covered boards. Boards are all loose but present with a library sticker to the tail of the front board and rubbing to the boards. Library stamps throughout with a library bookplate to the front pastedown. Pages are a little worn to the edges and a touch age-toned. Each plate has a library stamp to the verso.
