‎*Karl Ebert[1][2] (auch: Carl Ebert; * 13. März 1821 in Stuttgart; ? 1. März 1885 in München) war ein deutscher Landschaftsmaler. Nach dem frühen Tode seiner Eltern haben ihm seine Verwandten ermöglicht, an der Königlichen Kunstschule Stuttgart bei Gottlob Friedrich Steinkopf und Johann Friedrich Dieterich zu studieren. 1846 kam er nach München, wo er Privatschüler von Eduard Schleich dem Älteren wurde und oft die Münchener Pinakothek besuchte, um Werke niederländischer Meister zu studieren. Mit Friedrich Salzer und Richard Zimmermann besuchte er die Malerkolonien Polling und Eberfing. Seitdem widmete er sich ausschließlich der Landschaftsmalerei, insbesondere den Waldlandschaften. Er besuchte die Pariser Weltausstellungen 1855 und 1867, wurde dort von der Schule von Barbizon beeinflusst. Gemeinsam mit Eduard Schleich dem Älteren und Carl Morgenstern unternahm er Studienreisen nach Frankreich, Belgien und Holland. 1857 und 1872 besuchte er Italien. Im Jahre 1881 verbrachte er mehrere Monate in Bosnien. Vom König Ludwig II. von Bayern erhielt er eine Staatspension, vom König Karl von Württemberg wurde er mit dem Ritterkreuz des Kronenordens ausgezeichnet. (Quelle Wikipedia)‎

‎* Verzeichnet 232 Arbeiten, davon 24 abgebildet. Auflage 800 Exemplare ----- Franz Eggenschwiler (* 9. Dezember 1930 in Solothurn; ? 12. Juli 2000 in Bern) war ein Schweizer Künstler. Franz Eggenschwiler besuchte die Grundschule in Biberist. Nach einer Lehre von 1946 bis 1951 zum Glasmaler besuchte er von 1951 bis 1953 die Malschule Max von Mühlenen in Bern und war in den Jahren 1951 bis 1968 als gelernter Glasmaler bei der Firma Wüthrich in Bern tätig. Von 1955 bis 1971 bildete mit Peter Meier, Konrad Vetter und Robert Wälti die «Berner Arbeitsgemeinschaft». Anfangs schuf er Bilder, Skulpturen und Grafiken. Ab 1967 begann er aus Fundgegenständen und Abfällen Objekte und Schmuck herzustellen. Ab 1971 beteiligte er sich an der von Holger Runge gegründeten «Radiergemeinschaft Osterath» in Meerbusch-Osterath. Im Jahr 1972 war er Teilnehmer der Documenta 5 in Kassel in der Abteilung Individuelle Mythologien. 1973 zog er nach Eriswil im Oberaargau um, wo er bis zu seinem Tod lebte und arbeitete. Für den 85. Katholikentag 1978 in Freiburg im Breisgau schuf Eggenschwieler ein meterhohes Holzkreuz in einer Metallgitterstruktur, das seit 1979 am Hirzberg an der Waldstraße vom Schlossberg nach St. Ottilien steht. Von 1981 bis 1995 war er Professor an der Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. Er war verheiratet mit Rosemarie Eggenschwiler-Wiggli (1932?2019), die ebenfalls Künstlerin und die jüngere Schwester von Oscar Wiggli war.(Quelle Wikipedia)‎
