Legatura coeva assai bella in pieno vitello, bordura di tre filetti oro ai piatti, dorso a nervi con titolo e ricchi fregi in oro, tagli marmorizzati. Superbo esemplare dell'opera descrittiva dell'antica Venezia con maggior numero di illustrazioni incise in rame fuori testo: Veduta prospettica della città (mm.416x1028, ripiegata. E' assai simile alla pianta del Merian-Mortier del 1704); Pianta topografica della città (mm.424x530, ripiegata. Simile al Graevius); 102 vedute su doppia pagina (ispirate dalla serie del Carlevaris); 14 vedute pure su doppia pagina con animate scene di feste e cerimonie (in parte originali, in parte tratte dal Lovisa). La prima parte dell'opera descrive ed illustra in ampie vedute i templi, collegi, monumeti, mausolei, statue, pitture, sculture, etc. etc. - La seconda parte è dedicata a edifici pubblici e privati, pompe, feste, spettacoli, etc. - Questa stupenda monografia topografica-storica-artistica su Venezia è la più copiosa raccolta di vedute della città. Venne pure compresa nella collezione in 30 volumi di J.G. Graevius ''Thesaurus antiquitatum et historiarum Italiae'' pubblicata negli anni 1704-1723.
