Catalogue of the winners' plates in the Seventh International Calligraphy Competition in the name of Hashim Mohammad al-Baghdadi, (1335-1393 h. / 1917-1973 m.). Following IRCICA¿s tradi-tion of dedicating each of its triennial calligraphy competitions to a master of calligraphy in order to commemorate and make known the masters of this art, the seventh competition in the series was dedicated to the 20th-century Iraqi calligrapher Hashim al-Baghdadi. Among the 1616 works received for this competition from 916 par-ticipants from 38 countries, 119 calligraphers from 25 countries received awards each in one of fourteen styles, namely jaly thuluth, thuluth, naskh, jaly taliq, taliq, jaly diwani, diwani, qufi, muhaqqaq, reyhani, riqa¿ (ijaza), riq¿a, maghribi and hurde ta¿lik.‎
