‎Das Blatt des Hamburger Künstlers Edmund Nachtigall (1913-1980) ist am rechten unteren Blattrand eigenhändig in Kohle signiert und betitelt. In schnellem kraftvollen Strich ist der von Fritz Schumacher entworfene Pavillon am Barkhof und der vorgelagerte Mönckebergbrunnen mit den Bronzefiguren von Georg Wruba dargestellt. Der Pavillon, der nach seiner Fertigstellung 1915 als eine der ersten öffentlichen Volkslesehallen genutzt wurde, ist heute zum neuen Kulturcafé der Elbphilharmonie umgestaltet worden. - Das Blatt ist auf einem braunen Karton (50 x 35 cm) montiert. An den Blattecken befinden sich leichte Montagespuren. Insgesamt gutes ausdruckstarkes Exemplar.‎
