Illustrated wraps. 24 pp. plus a laid in 4 page piece for concerts unsure if part of this or not. 6 illustrations by Picasso present on three leave. OCLC has a number of records for this title with pagination varying among them although none matching this pagination. Appears complete but this cannot be stated for certain no evidence of removed pages. A program for performances given by the Ballet Russes and conducted by the noted Sergei Diaghilev. This program notable for the inclusion of line drawings by Pablo Picasso as well as a few color illustrations of costume/set designs by Juan Gris and Georges Braque. Many of these performances were choreographed by Nijinsky with contributions by artists such as Jean Cocteau Juan Gris and others as well as music composed by Stravinsky. The Ballet Russes was a traveling troupe considered one of the most influential due to its incorporation of modern art and music by Modernist artists and composers. GOOD condition. Minor to moderate foxing to the covers heaviest along the front cover edges. Minor soiling and a few stray creases.
