New edition in one volume. Lichtenberg's exhaustive study in preceded by a biography by Franz Kottenkamp. Scattered foxing sometimes heavy throughout the text volume. A few plates are a bit foxed or tanned and several are trimmed close to the caption but overall most are very clean and the paper is closer to cream than tan.
