Alcune annotazioni a matita. Fotografia che fa parte del servizio realizzato da Yousouf Karsh su Pablo Picasso nel 1954. Splendido scatto di grande intensita' che testimonia le qualita' da grande ritrattista di Yousouf Karsh. Armeno si trasferi' da giovane, per motivi politici, in Canada dove uno zio faceva il fotografo. Fu poi apprendista a Boston presso il fotografo J. Garo. Tornato in Canada apri' uno studio proprio davanti alla sede del governo. Fu introdotto in seguito negli ambienti governativi ma il successo vero arrivo' nel 1941 quando ritrasse Wiston Churchill. Sterminato e' l'elenco dei personaggi ritratti da Karsh, politici, artisti, scrittori, ecc. Sue opere sono esposte al Moma, alla National portrait gallery di Londra, alla Biblioteque nationale di Parigi ecc.
