Pour la curiosité, le libraire Louis Babeuf (1801-1871) doit être le neveu du célèbre Gracchus, par son frère Jean-Baptiste. Ce qui complique l'identification est que Robert, dit Émile Babeuf (1795-1842) eut également un fils Pierre qui fut libraire.‎

Voyage effectué de septembre 1843 à janvier 1844 en compagnie de l'architecte Dalgabio et du peintre E. Rey en Grêce, en Turquie et une petite excursion en Egypte. In-fine : Sur le goût des arts, discours de Chenavard prononcé à l'Académie Royale de Lyon en juillet 1831, édité chez Babeuf à Lyon. Très bel état du texte, sans rousseur, mais dos cassé.‎
