Very nice pictorial with plenty of text on the railroad which operated in northern California from the north end of San Francisco Bay to north of Eureka. A clean soundly bound copy with minor top edge fading and some dulling to the titles and light soiling. The jacket has light extremity wear soiling to the rear panel; one inch tears at top front spine fold and at bottom rear spine fold; and a two-inch tear at top rear panel. At the left bottom of the rear panel there is a three inch tear with loss of material on the verso. Published by the author, hardcover
