Premier tirage de cette Edition genevoise, illustrée d'un frontispice avec le buste sculpté de Corneille, gravé par Watelet d'après Pierre, et de 34 figures hors texte gravées en taille-douce d'après Gravelot. Ce fut Voltaire qui fit imprimer cette édition par souscription, en plus de la commenter.
