<p>The four corners of the book are bumped and there are small patches of paper missing in the corners. There is a 3/4 of an inch tear in the top edge of the front cover and a there is a 1/2 inch tear in the bottom edge of the front dust jacket.</p><p>The spine DJ is faded has worn edges and a rectangle of paper 1/2 an inch wide and 1 inch tall missing in the top edge.</p><p>The back DJ cover has light discolouring on it and a small nick in the bottom edge.</p><p>The book is not price clipped. There is some light foxing on the front and back endpapers and front and back inner board covers.</p><p>There is a former owners name on the front endpaper and a booksellers stamp on the inner front board cover. The 1/2 title page has moderate foxing on it. There is some light foxing on the pages before the text pages.</p><p>The internal pages are in good condition and there is light spotting on the external edges.</p><p> </p> The Bodley Head hardcover
