Thin strip of tape from previous matting at mid upper and lower edge barely visible; very good condition. A view of the elaborate garden design at Sceaux in the vicinity of Paris featuring cascades lake and much more. This is an example of a "vue d'optique" or perspective view a popular print from the second half of the 18th century designed to be projected with a viewing device a zograscope or perspective glass which enhanced the illusion of depth and perspective providing something of a 3D effect.
