Gilt lettering and design on the spine and cover is complete. First published in the Family Tutor in 1852 the author's sister E. Darwin had the republished for the first time as a seperate in 1887. What makes this copy of interest is that it is inscribed by her to E. Morgan Forster Book's Nest Stevenage and dated. Sadly at some later date someone drew a line through this inscription in ink.
