Hamburg B. S. Berendsohn ca. 1850. . Links der Sappeur angetan mit gelber langer Lederschürze u. Koppel über der Uniform u. ledernen Handschuhen über der Schulter hält er die große Zimmermanns-Axt; er trägt wie vielerorts Vorschrift war einen Vollbart; im Unterschied zum rechts neben ihm stehenden Infanteristen den lediglich ein kurzer Schnurrbart ziert. Der Infanterist hat einen Tornister auf dem Rücken an seiner Seite ein Gewehr mit aufgepflanztem Bajonett. - Zu dem Maler u. Lithographen Heinrich Jessen um die Mitte des 19.
