Hoftheater erschienene Einzelausgabe des Lustspiels in einer originellen zeitgenössischen Broschur mit Umschlagillustration in brauner Federzeichnung. Am vorderen Umschlag allegorische Theatermasken und Musikinstrumente; am hinteren Umschlag in reicher Rahmung schön kalligraphierte Titelangabe. - Johann Friedrich Jünger (1756-97) wirkte vorerst in Leipzig als Schriftsteller und lernte durch den Verleger Göschen 1785 Friedrich Schiller kennen. 1787 zog er nach Wien, wo er als Hoftheaterdichter und Dramaturg am Burgtheater arbeitete; wegen finanzieller Probleme 1794 entlassen, starb er nach wenigen Jahren an einem schweren Gemütsleiden. Eigenh. Musikmanuskript. 1 S. auf gefalt. Doppelblatt (farblithogr. Notenpapier mit Schmuckbordüre). Einliegend in Kartonmappe, diese mit goldener Brokatschnur gehalten in prächtigem historistischem Lederband über Holzdeckeln mit reicher Reliefprägung, breitem Rahmen mit vergoldeter Blattwerksbordüre, Messing-Eckbeschlägen, aufwendiger Goldprägung und Wappenauflage im Mittelfeld (auf blecherner Wappenkartusche ziselierte Messingauflage mit emailliertem Wappen der Stadt Wien und Umschrift "Wiener Schützen-Verein"). Die Innendeckel und die den Kartonfalz mit dem Manuskript umfassende Innenmappe mit preußischblauem Seidenbezug; die Mappe mit dem o. a. Titel in Goldprägung (innen mit weißem Papier mit Moiréeprägung bezogen). Folio (290:390 mm). Prächtig gebundenes, beschädigtes Dedikations-Musikmanuskript für die Waldhorn-Corps des Wiener Schützenvereins. Aus der Buchbinderei F. W. Papke im 4. Wiener Gemeindebezirk (am Vorderdeckel signiert). Noch 1914 führt "Lehmann's Allgemeiner Wohnungs-Anzeiger nebst Handels- und Gewerbe-Adreßbuch Wien" den Eintrag: "Papke F. W. - Buchbinderei und Musterkarten Fabrikation Specialität: Feine Liebhaber-Einbände, sowie künstlerisch vollendete Bucheinbände, Überreichungs-Adressen, Albums Portemonnaie-Kalender, Poesiebücher, Schreibmappen-Fabrikation. Permanente Ausstellung in den Salons im I. und II. Stock, Wien IV Wieden Mozartplatz neben Johann Strauß-Theater, Niederlage IV Wiedner Hauptstraße 15-17, Habighof". - Beiliegend 2 zeitgenöss. Eintrittskarten: eine unausgefüllte "Einlass-Karte zum Schützen-Zeit 1855 für Herrn ..." sowie eine "für Herrn Ahlen" ausgefüllte "Einlass-Karte" ins "Zelt der Vten Comp.". - Rücken gebrochen und restaurierungsbedürftig; Blätter mit unschönen Knickspuren.

[Einbände].
Moireseideneinband. Wohl München, um 1896.
177 x 113 mm. In den Farben rot, weiß und blau (quergestreift), silbergeprägtem königlich-bayerischem und goldgepr. Habsburger Wappen sowie goldgepr. Titel. Aufwendiger Einband eines einfachen Textheftchens mit dem Libretto zu Beethovens Oper "Fidelio", erschienen 1896 in München bei Kastner und Lossen (36 Seiten). Der Einband wurde offenbar von einem Münchner Buchbinder mit Initialen "PA" gefertigt (eine kleine silbergeprägte Signatur findet sich am unteren Rand des hinteren Deckels, mit etwas Phantasie sind zwischen den Buchstaben die Türme der Frauenkirche zu erkennen). Die Farben des Einbandes und die beiden Wappen sollen zweifelsohne die Verbindung des habsburgischen Kaiser- und des bayerischen Königshauses symbolisieren. Daß dieses Exemplar zu einer speziellen, hochkarätig besetzten Aufführung des "Fidelio" in München diente, bestätigen die handschriftlich mit Bleistift eingetragenen Namen der Sänger, die sämtlich in dieser Zeit Auftritte am Münchner Nationaltheater hatten, darunter Katharina Senger-Bettaque als Leonore, Gustav Walter als Florestan, Friedrich Brodersen als Minister, Alfred Bauberger als Don Pizarro und Sebastian Hofmüller in der Rolle des Jaquino. Ob Kaiserin Elisabeth ("Sisi") dieser Aufführung mit dem vorliegenden Textheft in der Hand beiwohnte, sei dahingestellt. - Buchblock gebrochen, Seiten teils ein wenig gelockert, leicht gebräunt. Rücken brüchig; etwas berieben und bestoßen.

Second printing 1 of 5000 copies printed of what is considered to be one of the best classic texts on cinematography and one of the three most important books on cinematic technique ever published still in print after 50 years. Mascelli 1917-1981 launched his career with newsreels stunt aerial films during World War II and was the director and cinematographer for the US Air Force’s “Operation Crossroads†filming from a specially outfitted B-17 the first Bikini Atoll A-Bomb tests. Edizione originale. Esemplare stampato in inchiostro sanguigna (ne esiste anche una variante stampata in blu), con stampigliato di traverso al margine destro: «cinematofuturista», e al retro, in taglio basso: «cinematofuturista | torino | città | FUTURISTA». In ottime condizioni di conservazione, quasi interamente integro. Poster réclame di grande impatto visivo per l’evento del primo film ufficiale del movimento futurista: «Si tratta senza dubbio del reperto di cinema futurista più iconico e impressionante dal punto di vista grafico: un poster di cm 64 x 44 a stampa cubitale solo recto, con grafica di grande impatto e modernità. Il poster è noto in due tirature pressoché identiche ma una stampata interamente in vivace inchiostro sanguigna, l’altra in inchiostro blu elettrico» (Coronelli). -- Elementi stilistici e contenutistici hanno portato recentemente a metter in dubbio la datazione al 1916, usualmente attestata nei cataloghi antiquari e nel repertorio dedicato da Paolo Tonini ai «Manifesti del futurismo italiano», oppure la versione leggermente diversa attestata da Giovanni Lista nel suo libro sul «Cinema futurista» del 2010 («manifesto per una tournée del film “Vita futurista” progettata all’inizio del 1917»): «Le caratteristiche tecniche del reperto ben si combinano con una collocazione primonovecentesca: carta satinata — molto usata, quindi completamente caduta in disuso nel corso del secondo Novecento — e stampa tipografica a caratteri di legno. L’aspetto grafico porterebbe a escludere gli anni Dieci, collocando piuttosto il documento nella decade intermedia 1925- 1935 – senza scartare aprioristicamente l’eventualità che il poster possa essere ricondotto a un progetto-revival del dopoguerra» (Coronelli). -- «“Vita futurista”, lungo 900 metri, con la partecipazione di Marinetti, Corra, Settimelli, Chiti, Balla, Nerino, Nannetti, Venna, Spina. [...] il film conteneva diverse trovate dell’arte d’avanguardia: una sequenza di “cinema diretto”, l’ingrandimento e il distanziamento degli oggetti, alcune immagini astratte di ombre e linee in movimento, il ricorso agli specchi deformanti, ecc. [...] per il loro film, i futuristi adottarono il modello della scena del varietà, con i suoi numeri ritmicamente concatenati nella più assoluta eterogeneità di forma e contenuto. [...] si trattava della stessa scelta che alimentava la rivoluzione teatrale futurista con le “sintesi”, le “sorprese” e le improvvisazioni sceniche. [...] in modo generale, il film rifletteva così il connubio dei futuristi con il mondo del teatro di varietà (Petrolini, Spadaro) e del cinema comico popolare (Polidor, Ridolini) […]» (Diz. Fut., p. 272a-b). [Film futurista]
Primo film futurista intitolato Vita futurista scritto e interpretato da futuristi Marinetti Settimelli Corra-ecc. [VARIANTE BLU]
Edizione originale. Esemplare nella rara variante in inchiostro blu, in condizioni più che buone (quasi ottime), con sfrangiature e piccole perdite marginali che non toccano il testo. Poster réclame di grande impatto visivo per l’evento del primo film ufficiale del movimento futurista: «Si tratta senza dubbio del reperto di cinema futurista più iconico e impressionante dal punto di vista grafico: un poster di cm 64 x 44 a stampa cubitale solo recto, con grafica di grande impatto e modernità. Il poster è noto in due tirature pressoché identiche ma una stampata interamente in vivace inchiostro sanguigna, l’altra in inchiostro blu elettrico» (Coronelli). -- Elementi stilistici e contenutistici hanno portato recentemente a metter in dubbio la datazione al 1916, usualmente attestata nei cataloghi antiquari e nel repertorio dedicato da Paolo Tonini ai «Manifesti del futurismo italiano», oppure la versione leggermente diversa attestata da Giovanni Lista nel suo libro sul «Cinema futurista» del 2010 («manifesto per una tournée del film “Vita futurista” progettata all’inizio del 1917»): «Le caratteristiche tecniche del reperto ben si combinano con una collocazione primonovecentesca: carta satinata — molto usata, quindi completamente caduta in disuso nel corso del secondo Novecento — e stampa tipografica a caratteri di legno. L’aspetto grafico porterebbe a escludere gli anni Dieci, collocando piuttosto il documento nella decade intermedia 1925- 1935 – senza scartare aprioristicamente l’eventualità che il poster possa essere ricondotto a un progetto-revival del dopoguerra» (Coronelli). -- «“Vita futurista”, lungo 900 metri, con la partecipazione di Marinetti, Corra, Settimelli, Chiti, Balla, Nerino, Nannetti, Venna, Spina. [...] il film conteneva diverse trovate dell’arte d’avanguardia: una sequenza di “cinema diretto”, l’ingrandimento e il distanziamento degli oggetti, alcune immagini astratte di ombre e linee in movimento, il ricorso agli specchi deformanti, ecc. [...] per il loro film, i futuristi adottarono il modello della scena del varietà, con i suoi numeri ritmicamente concatenati nella più assoluta eterogeneità di forma e contenuto. [...] si trattava della stessa scelta che alimentava la rivoluzione teatrale futurista con le “sintesi”, le “sorprese” e le improvvisazioni sceniche. [...] in modo generale, il film rifletteva così il connubio dei futuristi con il mondo del teatro di varietà (Petrolini, Spadaro) e del cinema comico popolare (Polidor, Ridolini) […]» (Diz. Hier matin, à l'aube, plusieurs centaines de cultivateurs sont aller manifester au domaine de la "Pichonnière", dans l'Orne, propriété de l'acteur Jean Gabin. Le but de cette manifestation était de protester contre, ce que les cultivateurs considèrent comme un cumul de terres de la part de Jean Gabin qui, en effet, a considérablement arrondi le domaine qu'il possédait à l'origine en achetant peu à peu plusieurs fermes dont il a fait une propriété unique.
