Nicholson & Watson. Very Good. 179pp. 1944. First edition. A very good clean tight copy in a scarce wartime wrapper. Former owner's name in black ink Yvonne M. Ghent to the title page with the date July 1945. Original publisher's grey boards - embossed in black to the spine. There is some toning to the rear endpaper. The wrapper has not been price-clipped. There is some toning to the spine of the wrapper and a circular stain mark around 6mm in diameter and a couple of soil marks to the tail of the rear panel of the wrapper. There is also a light circular stain mark around 1cm in diameter. There is a tiny chip to the head of the spine of the wrapper and to a couple of corners and some light dustsoiling to the rear panel of the wrapper. A scarce copy in wrapper - well preserved too.
