Front gutter is cracked but binding firm and square; gilt lettering on leather spine still bright but the crown and foot of spine is abraded. the handsome leather front board shows only moderate rubbing or bumping but the upper corner of the back one is chewed away and the leather is strpped from a portion of the lower edge.
