An excellent clean and fresh copy with only very minor occasional browning. 16 654 82 pp. � Scarce editio princeps of Thomas Aquinas' highly important commentary on the Apocalypse of John which at the time of Aquinas was considered perhaps the most important part of the Bible. <br><br>The Apocalypse of John constitutes the last book of the Bible and the only thoroughly apocalyptic text of the New Testament; it presents a vision of the end of time and of God's victory over evil and was - especially in the Middle Ages - an extremely popular part of the Bible which in itself inspired much medieval art.
