Il volume è illustrato da 59 belle tavole inc. in rame di cui 3 in acquatinta (tutte dettagliatam. descritte), tratte dai suoi disegni originali; vi figurano: il teatro dell'Hermitage, il maneggio delle Guardie a Cavallo, l'Istituto delle nobili fanciulle, la casa del Principe Gagarin, la cappella dei Cavalieri di Malta, l'Arco Trionfale eretto per l'ingresso dell'Imperatore Alessandro, a Pietroburgo; a Carskoe Selo il paIazzo Alessandro che è il suo capolavoro.Prima e più importante opera monografica sul grande architetto bergamasco (1744-1817). Realizzata dal figlio, a quattro anni dalla sua scomparsa, venne poi ristampata a Mantova nel 1843 ed ampliata nel 1844 con la pubblicazione di nuovi progetti raccolti e curati sempre dal figlio. Each horse is accompanied by a man holding the reins dressed in possibly a matching costume. They were all photographed at the same track in the yard of what seems to be a palace. The names of the horses are: Prezes Jako Velizarij Fanfara Taran Lenta Mon Barry Karina Lusty Nord-Ost Lena and Forteca.With a blind stamped signature of the photographer unidentified by us.
