The first edition was issued in 1938 the year after Garcia Lorca's death. All are in green cloth with gilt decoration on front board and gilt lettering and borders on spines. The spines are a little sunned. All volumes have a white silk marker ribbon bound in. All copies are generally very good or better. with browning paper consistently throughout all volumes. Some corner bumps but generally all volumes are tight and square with no names or other markings in the books. A nice set of the preferred Buenos Aires edition of the author's complete works.
