The first work of its kind since Oliver's Ecclesiastical Antiquities 1839-42 and one of the glories of the published ecclesiology of Devon. Indeed few if any English counties benefit from surveys illustrated to this extent and standard. INCREASINGLY SCARCE ESPECIALLY AS A SET IN THIS CONDITION.
