Contains a number of important acts relating to the American colonies. With acts on public improvements commerce many on American colonial trade inclosures public appointments etc. A 1734 act "to encourage designing engraving and etching historical and other prints." Also includes an act to disarm Scottish clans and prohibit Highland dress. Another act of 1734 "to continue an Act.intituled An Act For Granting Liberty to Carry Rice From His Majesty's Province of Carolina in America." An act of 1738 "to continue Two several Acts.one for encouraging the Growth of Coffee in His Majesty's Plantations in America and the other for the better securing and encouraging the Trade of His Majesty's Sugar Colonies in America." An act of 1739 "for naturalizing such foreign Protestants.as are settled or shall settle in any of His Majesty's Colonies in America."
