Though the manuscript presentation does not seem to be his: "To Lizzie from her husband Dec. 8th, 1855" on first fly leaf. 170mm. Original full leather binding, edges rubbed. Spine lettered in gold gilt with raised bands. Very slight loss at tail of spine. Hardbound. Very good. Edwin Forrest (1806-1872) was the most famous American actor of his era. RELIGION BX 12
