Very Good Turkish, Ottoman (1500-1928) Original newspaper issue. 64x45 cm. In Ottoman script. 4 p., richly illustrated. Half of the first page of the newspaper is devoted to the disagreement Monsieur Edward Höcknen, who was ex-director of the Turkish Anatolian - Baghdad Railways. The caricature shows that Monsieur Höcknen stops the train with his giant arms. According to the news on the newspaper, this international question is solved by Zekâi Bey who was Aydin muavini. Tevhîd-i Efkâr was a daily political newspaper published between 15 June 1921 and 6 March 1925. Its editor-in-chief was Velid Ebüzziya, (1884-1945). It was published in Istanbul during the Turkish War of Independence, (1919-1922), and supported the War of Independence. But after the proclamation of the Republic, he started an intense criticism campaign. Thereupon, 'Yeni gün' [i.e. New Day in Anatolia], Hakimiyet-i Milliye newspapers started opposition to the Istanbul press and Tevhid-i Efkar. With the approval of the three-point Takrir-i Sükûn Law on 4 March 1925, newspapers such as Tevhid-i Efkâr, Istiklal, Son Telgraf, and Tanin, which were published in Istanbul, and the magazine Sebilürresad were closed. Extremely rare.

Magazin des Theaters zur Spielzeit 1940/41 mit zahlreichen Porträts der verpflichteten Schauspieler/innen, einzelnen Hinweisen auf die neuen Stücke sowie Werbung von Berliner Geschäften und Lokalen der Zeit. (ca. 22 x 15 cm). 4 S. Original-Programmzettel, gefaltet, mit farbig illustriertem Deckeltitel (Signee: Eichheim 39). Deckel etwas berieben, innen gut erhalten, Spuren entlang der Faltlinie. Handschriftliche Bleistiftnotiz auf Deckel über Aufführungsbesuch. Inszenierung von Regisseur Max Marfeld, Ausstattung: Ludwig Hornsteiner, Musikalische Leitung: Dr. Edmund Nick, Tänze: Lula von Sachnowsky. Schauspieler u.a.: Georg Trabert, Hans Stadtmüller, Waldemar Henke, Alfred Haase. Die farbige Illustration auf dem Deckel wurde signiert mit "Eichheim 39". Auf der Rückseite des Programmzettels findet sich das Zeichen der Deutschen Arbeitsfront ("Die Deutsche Arbeitsfront / NS-Gemeinschaft "Kraft durch Freude" / Gau Berlin"), vermutlich wurde der Besuch der Aufführung gefördert. Das Theater des Volkes existierte während des Nationalsozialismus im Gebäude gegenüber dem Schiffbauerdamm-Theater (Am Zirkus), nach 1945 wurde das Gebäude als Friedrichstadtpalast weitergenutzt.

(ca. 22 x 15 cm). 4 S. 2 Beilagen. Original-Programmzettel, gefaltet, mit farbig illustriertem Deckeltitel. Deckel etwas berieben, innen gut erhalten, Spuren entlang der Faltlinien. Inszenierung von Regisseur Wolf Bölker, Ausstattung: Ludwig Hornsteiner, Musikalische Leitung: Edmund Nick. Schauspieler u.a.: Hans Heinz Bollmann, Hans Heßling, Elisa Illiard, Alfred Haase. Der Programmzettel enthält 2 zeitgenössische Beilagen: einen Original-Zeitungsartikel zur Aufführung mit deutlichem Lob ("Vorbildliche Operettenaufführung"), zudem einen Schreibmaschinendurchschlag eines Manuskripts mit einem kurzen Text (1 S.) zur Neueinstudierung der Operette von Anita Böttger (vermutlich Berliner Journalistin oder Dramaturgin am Theater selbst). Auf der ersten Seite des Programmzettels findet sich eine ganzseitige Anzeige der Deutschen Arbeitsfront ("Die Deutsche Arbeitsfront / NS-Gemeinschaft "Kraft durch Freude" / Gau Berlin"), hier wurde für das Winterhilfswerk geworben ("Deine Hilfe entscheidet, daß keiner von uns leidet."). Interessant ist hier das kombinierte Signee des Theaters oben über der Anzeige - über dem skizzierten Theatergebäude ragt das Hakenkreuz der Arbeitsfront sonnenähnlich hervor. Unterschrieben ist die Illustration mit "Theater des Volkes" und rückt die Position des Theaters als erstes deutsches "Kraft durch Freude"-Theater eindrücklich in den Fokus.
