Mackenzie was Principal General Staff Officer of 1 Airborne Division. Well-illustrated booklet first issued in 1954. The photographs include the 'icons' (including Urquhart at Hartenstein, the GPR at the School and Sherriff's 75mm) but also a good many not easily available elsewhere. Particularly valuable are the images of the Airborne Memorial Days 1946-1969 (including shots of Hackett, Hicks, Horrocks, Sosabowski, Urquhart and Warrack).
