Ownership inscription on front flyleaf states that this copy was given to Hannah Avis James at Avis family reunion at Alcyon Park Pitman New Jersey on 10 Sept. 1927 two months after its original publication. Many representatives of the Avis family originally settled in the Moravian communities in and around Bethlehem and Northampton County Pennsylvania as well as sections of New Jersey.
