Cited on p. 253 of Fitzpatrick's Bibliography of Iowa Territorial Documents. Iowa did not became a state until 1846. The last page is numbered 159 rather than 157 as in some copies. Also includes with separate title page: "Laws of Iowa Passed at the Session of the Legislative Assembly Which Commenced on the 5th Day of May 1845. John Chambers Governor; S. J.
