A very well cared for copy of the history of one of Delaware's oldest churches from its founding in 1708. One of the members of the committee to collect subscription for the church building was Thomas McKean one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. This copy has a very slight slant to the spine. otherwise is clean and bright with bright silver lettering to the front and spine. No markings darkening or soiling to interior. A well researched and detailed history with many b&w photos footnotes and 12 appendices. Some of the items included in the appendices are: Names mentioned in Records to 1898; 1895 Cemetery List and lists of all kinds mentioning people associated with the church. There is a map housed in an envelope attached to the back of the book which has numbered plots that correspond to the Cemetery List. 351 pages. Now housed in an acid free document bag.
