TPL has this in Microform filmed from a copy of the original held by the National Lib of Canada The collation they cite is as follows; 84p. 1 folded leaf of plates: ill. map; 21 cm. My copy does not have a folded leaf of plates and I do not know if their citing "map" denotes the two maps on inside front wrap the wrap that I have cited or a tipped-in or folded map Size: 8 Vo. Two illustrations including map and cabin diagram of the Express Steamships Alberta and Athabasca of the Canadian Pacific Upper Lake Steamships. Original illustrated brown wrappers with black cloth tape spine; name on front cover and pencil notes on memoranda leaves about actual trip; bottom edge chipped and ragged several leaves loose but complete with some occasiobnal silverfishing losss of text to one leaf.very scarce. 1894 Canadian Pacific Railway paperback
N. P.: Privately printed 1924. 1924. A lovely color pictorial map 17" x 45.5" folding to 8.5" x 4" and showing the route of the Canadian Pacific from Calgary and Macleod in the east to Vancouver and Seattle in the west as well as several shorter branch lines. Map has a split at one fold but is otherwise in fine condition. Over-sized folder has chips and tears. Includes excellent detail of topography with different mountain ranges identified and names and elevations given for many individual peaks. Parks are also identified as are numerous small towns. Steamer lines are shown in Kootenay Lake Arrow Lake Okanagan Lake and the Straits of Georgia and Juan de Fuca. There is a table of distances at the lower right and an inset map of the coastline from Seattle to Skagway Alaska. Privately printed, 1924. unknown

It is prominently located on a cliff overlooking the St. Lawrence River within the Qu‚bec historic district. The Chƒteau Frontenac was designed by American architect Bruce Price as one of a series of "chƒteau" style hotels built for the Canadian Pacific Railway company during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. CPR'S policy was to promote luxury tourism by appealing to wealthy travellers. Montreal: Canadian Pacific Railway 1912. Descriptive timetable of the western Canadian tour from Toronto to Vancouver and back by rail and steamship by the new Governor-General of Canada H.R.H. Prince Arthur William Patrick Albert first Duke of Connaught and Strathearn 1850-1942. The royal party consisted of the Duke and Duchess Princess Patricia two ladies in waiting Lt.-Col. H.C.Lowther Capt. T.H.Rivers 2 aides-decamp Major E.S.Worthington medical officer and Mr. W.R.Baker representing the CPR. The work is illustrated by photographic based views of the countryside and cities of western Canada. This would appear to be one of a limited number of copies specially bound for presentation. No records have been located. Prince Arthur Arthur William Patrick Albert first Duke of Connaught and Strathearn was posted to Canada on military duty in 1869-70 serving during the Red River Rebellion and the Fenian Raid of 1870. In 1911 he was appointed Governor-General of Canada a position he held until 1916. Not in Peel or Edwards and Lort. Not found in the Amicus data base Library of Congress or British Library catalogues. Outer cover is lightly rubbed internal areas very good with small loss of paper where flaps fold over.
