Cambiamento e leadership. Giovanni Ialongo e la riforma del sistema postale italiano
È stata una sorta di "rivoluzione silenziosa" quella avvenuta negli ultimi due decenni nel sistema postale, in quanto ne ha mutato la fisionomia complessiva e ne ha ampliato notevolmente il campo d'attività. Giovanni Ialongo è stato uno dei protagonisti di questa vicenda nel corso del suo itinerario da leader sindacale, fautore della svolta riformatrice, a presidente del Gruppo Poste Italiane. La presentazione del rapporto PiT Servizi, quest'anno articolata in quattro rapporti e altrettanti workshop tematici, molto ambiziosa nel voler valorizzare le segnalazioni dei cittadini tramite l'approfondimento sui temi, è giunta alla sua quattordicesima edizione. In queste ultime settimane in cui il nostro Paese ospita il semestre europeo, ricordiamo che il servizio di assistenza e consulenza ai cittadini-consumatori, Progetto integrato di Tutela, è stato possibile realizzarlo grazie all'Europa, alla tanta bistrattata Europa. È stato possibile con il contributo sfidante della progettualità e con l'attenzione e lo stimolo che ci arriva dall'Europa, da decenni, sul fronte dei diritti del consumatore. L'articolo 38 della Carta dei diritti fondamentali dell'Unione europea, approvata a Nizza nel 2000, recitava: "Nelle politiche dell'Unione è garantito un livello elevato di protezione dei consumatori", confermando e rafforzando la volontà di mettere al centro di tutte le politiche europee il consumatore. In qualche modo è stato così in questi anni. Ora nuove sfide attendono l'Europa e i Paesi membri, dalla gestione dei flussi migratori ai cambiamenti climatici, dai temi legati all'energia alla globalizzazione economica, con le conseguenze che questo comporta sui mercati. Appare sempre più evidente che, in un momento in cui l'Europa deve cercare nuove opportunità di crescita, la politica dei consumatori è un settore che può dare un contributo.

This work explores the geography of Ancient Britain its histories monuments chronicles and religion.Written by Beale Poste 1793-1871 an English antiquarian and archaeology enthusiast. He was one of the earliest members of the British Archaeological Association and often wrote for their journal. His other works included 'Britannia Antiqua' 'The Coins of Cunobeline and of the Ancient Britains' and 'Celtic Inscriptions on Gaulish and British Coins'.A first edition of this uncommon work.With two folding maps as well as two in-text illustrations. Collated complete. In a full cloth binding. Externally a trifle rubbed with wear noticeable in particular to the head of the spine and joints. Ex-library bookplate to the front pastedown has been covered over. Internally generally firmly bound except the straining to the front hinge. Pages are bright and clean with just a little age-toning.
