Contents clean and tight a few corner tips expertly repaired using Japanese tissue and methyl cellulose short fore-edge tear to p. 267 small loss to the lower corner of leaf 311/312 but an original paper fault and not nearly affecting text. Wide margins no inscriptions original end-papers. A very good copy. Very scarce printed for private circulation only. We have only been able to locate a couple of copies sold at auction in the last 30 years Sotheby's Apr 29 1986 lot 792 and Dominic Winter lot 59 Sept 21 2011. First Edition. Hardcover.
