Rockville Maryland: Aspen Systems Corporation 1982. 366 Pages Indexed. Blue cloth with gold lettering over black background. The basic purpose of this book is enlightenment. Education of the severely and profoundly handicapped is a relatively recent practice and in order to avoid the trial-and-error experiences of instruction that predominated the early history of education of other types of handicapped individuals it is imperative that systematic types of instructional practices be set forth. This book presents a global instructional view of severely and profoundly handicapped students yet focuses on specific concerns and strategies that must be dealt with in order that educational growth can be achieved.
