Approximately 36 pages used in the book with many more unused. With a few envelopes of photo negatives some large in size. The scrapbook contains various identification and membership cards for Charles Palmer as well as items pertaining to his service in World War II. Serving as a private first class it appears Palmer was an Official War Photographer ID card present indicating such. Newsletters paper clippings meal cards and other paper ephemera associated with his service are present including a letter that indicates he was nominated or received a Soldier's Medal for his actions in documenting a ship that had exploded in a port. An official letter regarding his request to find the grave of a fellow fallen soldier is included as well as various military bulletins photos and newspaper clippings of people comics theater tickets and other related type of items from Italy etc. also present. Some of the 3x4 inch negatives appear to depict soldiers or military type scenes although this is hard to tell for certain while the rest of the negatives are portraits of people. Side folding newspaper. 8 pp. A newspaper issued by the utopian religious communities established by John Humphrey Noyes in Oneida New York and Wallingford Connecticut. This issue contains community gossip relating to the communes as well as a printing of the poem "Give All to Love" by Ralph Waldo Emerson. The Oneida community established by Noyes was a 19th century religious commune advocating communal living and free love among other tenets. FAIR condition. Heavy chipping and tearing along the extremities with a few large pieces missing at the lower corners resulting in loss of text to the first two leaves. Center horizontal fold crease present. Heavy diagonal crease present to the pages throughout resulting the paper being slightly folded on itself. Minor general browning. Minor soiling and staining. The Circular, Publisher unknown

Side sewn pamphlet lacking any wrappers that may have been issued. 16 pp. printing of letters by John Humphrey Noyes and H.H.S. discussing the struggles with disease at the religious utopian communal village in Wallingford Connecticut the same communal group that was started at Onieda New York by John Humphrey Noyes. The letters document deaths and the feelings within the community that their town should be abandoned as well as the purported success in fighting the disease through the use of Turkish baths. Printed wraps. 48 pp. A theological work drawing heavily from biblical passages discussing Jesus and sin within Christian faith providing a somewhat elliptical explanation of Noyes' belief in Christian Perfectionism. John Humphrey Noyes was the founder of the Oneida Community a utopian religious community in New York perhaps best known for its advocating of free love and of communal marriage between all men and women within the community. This belief as well as the development of communal living originated in Noyes' interest in Christian Perfectionism and the idea that men and women should live happily on Earth already absolved of sin. VERY GOOD condition. Minor soiling and uneven darkening to the wraps with light offsetting to the rear cover. Interior clean and solid. The Oneida Community, Publishers unknown
