A general history of the Civil War looking at the various battles campaigns notable figures etc. GOOD condition. A few illustrations detached but present. Heavy scuffing to the leather along the extremities and spine with general fading and otherwise minor scuffing to the covers. Minor soiling and staining to the covers. Approximately 25 leaves with entries most on both sides followed by several pages of her personal finance accounting. Many pages blank. Eva A. Turst appears to have been around middle school and high school age for the time span kept with most entries being very short and recalling visitors and travels in the area as well as start and end of school. Brief mention of the school being closed because of influenza in 1918 is found but otherwise entries are unembellished account of visitors and events. With an accounting type ledger charting her expenditures on school supplies and other items. GOOD condition. Minor curling wrinkling soiling and edgewear to the piece. No Publisher unknown
