Underneath this inscription is a gift inscription by Pauline Hirschfield dated May 22 1992. This is a monumental work of 674 pages with a selected bibliography and comprehensive index of Oklahoma Birds at the end of the volume. There is a blue speckled finish on the top edge of the pages. The pages are clean. The top edge of the covers of the work have some discoloration. The dust jacket has some chips and small tears and age spots but looks quite nice in its archival quality cover. Volume has blue cloth covers with sharp black and gilt lettering on the spine and a black sketch of a bird on the front cover and spine. A scarce keepsake edition. Signed By the Author.
