Suite à la démission d 'une partie du jury (Louis Malle, Monica Vitti, Roman Polanski et Terence Young), Alain Resnais, comme d'autres réalisateurs, décide du retrait de son film. ‎Plan de Paris et ses fortifications.‎

‎Paris, Aug.te Logerot, [circa 1848]. En 32 sections remises à plat et entoilées, formant un plan de 680 x 985 mm.‎

‎Plan mural de Paris divisé en 12 arrondissements, dessiné par le géographe Maillard et l'architecte Alvar Toussaint. Il est orné de vignettes figurant des monuments de la ville et de la banlieue, et accompagné d'une table alphabétique des rues. Le plan figure les deux murs d'enceinte de la ville, le mur des Fermiers Généraux, construit en 1790, et l'enceinte de Thiers. L'enceinte de Thiers, du nom de l'homme politique qui conçut le projet, fut construite entre 1841 et 1844, à la demande de Louis-Philippe, qui souhaitait faire construire autour de la capitale une enceinte bastionnée qui rendrait la ville imprenable. Constituée de 94 bastions, elle englobait non seulement Paris mais aussi les communes environnantes : Montmartre, La Villette, Belleville, Charonne, Bercy, Auteuil, Passy, etc. Tout autour de cette enceinte, on fit construire 16 forts détachés, tous figurant sur notre plan (forts de Charenton, d'Ivry, de Bicêtre, de Montrouge, de Nogent, de Rosny, etc). Ces forts sont représentés par des enceintes fortifiées aquarellées en rouge et en vert. Bon exemplaire aquarellé à l'époque. Quelques rousseurs. Vallée, 1960.‎
