Boston: Manufacturers' Advertising Company 1918. Salesman's Dummy. Hardcover. Small quarto 24 cm Red cloth over boards with gilt and black lettering and ornamental stamping on the front cover. Good only. The covers are subtly darkened and rubbed and the spine ends are gently bumped. There are a handful of small splash stains on the spine and surrounding areas. The endsheets are slightly discolored and there is a one inch long split in the rear endsheet along the hinge. The first couple of pages have 2 inch long closed tears in the top edges. The text block is cracked at the beginning and the first 31 pages are almost completely detached. The pages are mildly browned.
