In-8 p. (mm. 206x125), mz. pelle coeva con ang. (lievi abras. ai piatti), fregi e tit. oro al dorso, pp. VIII,298, con 2 tavv. f.t. che raffigurano contorni di alcune medaglie. Importante biografia di Franz Joseph Haydn (1732 - 1809). Le “Haydine” costituiscono uno dei primi esempi, e tra i più insigni, di critica musicale intesa modernamente. Manca il ritratto del grande musicista. "Prima edizione". Cfr.
