Printed on coated wove paper. A fine impression. <br/><br/>With two small handstamps of the Carnegie Institute in Pittsburgh with manuscript address below Lugt 433. The subject of the present engraving is Bessie Abbott the original owner of the instrument identified as Clavichord No. 33 in the original log of these instruments sold to her in October of 1909. The instrument was extensively rebuilt in 1944 by John Challis. <br/><br/>Wellington was a New York illustrator and miniaturist. <br/><br/>We would like to thank both Laurence Libin and Richard Troeger for their kind assistance in the cataloguing of this item. unknown books
