A finely engraved instruction book for drawing human figures of all ages, their basic construction, proportions, facial details, draped clothes, etc. Johann Daniel Preißler (1666-1737), a member of a Nuremberg artists' dynasty of Bohemian origin, published several such pattern books and is also known for his series of ornamental, Biblical and allegorical engravings. Universities and the Federal governments RD agencies must make coordinated fundamental structural changes that affirm the integral role of computational science in addressing the 21st century's most important problems which are predominantly multidisciplinary multi-agency multi sector and collaborative. To initiate the required transformation the Federal government in partnership with academia and industry must also create and execute a multi-decade roadmap directing coordinated advances in computational science and its applications in science and engineering disciplines. Il rapporto tra l'uomo e la tecnologia è diventato esponenziale e ci pone davanti ad alcuni dilemmi: se nelle epoche precedenti l'uomo ha iniziato a porre fuori da sé le funzioni fisiche proprie del suo corpo, ora ha iniziato a porre fuori da sé le funzioni che qualcuno arriva a dire cognitive. Sorgono allora alcune riflessioni e suggestioni che il testo propone al lettore, che coinvolgono la sfera sociale, individuale e i futuri modelli di business.

È chiara l'intenzione di Gino Primavera, esperto di cibo e gastronomia, di spostare in questo libro il discorso sul cibo dai suoi aspetti più comunemente analizzati (valore nutrizionale, organolettico, i vari indicatori di qualità...) a quello più propriamente letterario: quindi cibo raccontato da lui e da altri autori, storie personali, di quelle che raramente si trovano nei testi di Gastronomia ma sono depositate nelle memorie e per salvarle bisogna scriverle. Con un lavoro certosino Gino ha scavato nei propri appunti, ha intervistato chi aveva qualcosa da narrare, ha chiesto la collaborazione di tanti amici e conoscenze e ha ricevuto preziose informazioni e storie scritte da vari autori. Cinquanta tra autori (compreso Gino Primavera con una sua sezione "Memorie da salvare") e collaboratori a vario titolo raccontano storie in materia di cibo, narrandone a volte l'origine, a volte la sedimentazione nella tradizione culinaria, più spesso entrambe; veicolando ricordi e raccontando esperienze, spesso così come si sono sin dagli anni dell'infanzia impresse nella mente. Cinquantanove le ricette pubblicate, non quelle più comuni e note ma quelle di casa, di famiglia, integre e intonse. Difficile trovare mediazioni culturali in questo percorso rigorosamente integralista, con la sola concessione alla modernità in alcune belle ricette di valenti chef, presenti nella sezione "Storie di cibo", nelle quali l'esperienza personale si arricchisce di tecniche di vita materiale e di coerente innovazione.

Il presente Manuale Fitness pieno di consigli utili e pratici, molti dei quali provati in prima persona, è dedicato alle donne che sono andate incontro a problemi legati all'alterazione della gestione del cibo e dell'attività fisica (anche eccessiva), problemi ormai diffusi e in continuo aumento a tutte le età che conducono anche a forme patologiche vere e proprie". Il messaggio del testo è chiaro "non esagerare né in un verso né nell'altro", stare bene fisicamente e mentalmente deve essere uno stile di vita privo di pensieri o sofferenze. L'esagerazione non serve. L'attività fisica costante nel tempo libera la mente dalle "catene" della quotidianità e dai ritmi frenetici della vita mantenendo il fisico forte, a sua volta la corretta alimentazione (al passo con uno stile di vita attivo) aiuta il corpo a mantenersi in ottimo stato.
